Christine and Derek visited us at our show home and we discussed their requirements. Because we were involved at such an early part of the build, we ensured the correct cabling was used at the beginning.
This beautiful timber framed house has been built to a high standard and has a tasteful designed interior.
Derek was initially concerned that the house may be too big for the two of them now that their family had grown up and left home, but he says it doesn’t feel that way at all.
Although it is spacious, it feels a lovely welcoming home.
Looking to the future, the couple have installed a lift into the property which blends very well into the hallway.
Paul installed an Elan Control System and C-Bus Intelligent Lighting on the ground floor and exterior.
In the lounge a Surround Sound System has been fitted with a Denon AVR and 65 inch TV.
HDMI 8×8 Matrix controls HDTV distribution
Wifi distribution is fitted ensuring consistency throughout the house.
Automated blinds and curtains were used in prominent rooms.
A climate Control Heatmiser Neo thermostat communicates to Elan to give simple control of all media, lighting and heating on the property.
The timber frame brought a few challenges however. Paul and his team had a difficult task of running the cables around the property with the timber frame and ensuring the cabling was discreetly hidden from view.
Christine and Derek are putting the finishing touches to their garden so they can enjoy some of the beautiful views – appreciated even more sat on their glass balcony overlooking the adjoining landscape.
