The company has had problems on several occasions with drivers colliding with the existing barriers, so to improve safety we installed a NICE barrier system with safety edges that were programmed to open at pre set times and accessed out of hours by keypad control.
Barriers were fitted with LED lighting on the boom and an integral traffic light system within the barrier fitted to avoid collisions.
